The jealous look of a teenage girl.In her 15 years as a copywriter, Beta Perwata's inspiration comes from the little things that make life wonderful. This inspiration has become her strength - be it in developing countless campaigns for FMCGs or as a base of a tongue in cheek approach to a telecommunication campaign .
During her time, Beta's role has been very instrumental to the success of Lifebuoy Soap in South East Asia. The "Lifebuoy 5 occasions" campaign in Indonesia and Vietnam was so succesful that other region replaced their current campaign with the SEA format. The 2009 Lifebuoy thematic campaign was among The Top 10 winner of Ad Effectiveness Award 2009 held by MRI (Marketing Research Indonesia). A versatile copywriter, Beta's creativity has also been recognised at the annual Indonesian Awards show and Efficacy Awards Show Hong Kong for POLO, Nestle Confectionary.
Her maturity as a creative is shown in her ability to manage and build relationship with demanding clients without compromising on the creative output.
Always being a sponge, Beta absorbs life as it is and squeezes out the beauty of it when is needed.
Beta's passion for creativity goes beyond advertising. Her short stories were published in The Jakarta Post and she is presently working on her collection of short stories. Beta has also collaborated on various design projects.
Beta was written about in relations to advertising in a few local news papers. She was also profiled in DEWI Magazine in 2007 as an Indonesian Female Professional living and working overseas.
An avid scuba diver, she goes on a diving trip once a year, enjoying the underwater world which she finds very fascinating.
